A PLACE AT THE TABLE was originally an exhibit by GREEKS IN WASHINGTON presented in partnership with Seattle’s Museum of History & Industry (MOHAI).  The exhibit traces the history of over 200 Greek-owned restaurants in Seattle, Washington, and another 100 restaurants throughout the state.  The Greek-American Historical Museum of Washington State spent two years conducting video interviews with restaurateurs and collecting photos and memorabilia for this exhibit.

This exhibit has since launched a book series by the Museum, featuring Greek-owned and operated restaurants across Washington state. Check them out in our Museum Store.
